Afterpay has landed at Jetstar
Jetstar brings Afterpay on board to offer Buy Now, Pay Later for Kiwi customers.
New Zealand’s leading ‘Buy Now, Pay Later’ service, Afterpay, has partnered with Jetstar, the leading low-fares airline in the country, to offer its services as an instalment payment method for Kiwi customers.
The new payment option enables savvy travellers to pay for flights in instalments making planning a trip across New Zealand and overseas even easier with Jetstar.
This option is available now for bookings on domestic and international Jetstar flights, travellers will be able to enjoy an interest-free, instalment payment option, a service that customers have been holding out for.
Katrina Kontas, Afterpay Vice President Sales, says, “We are delighted to partner with Jetstar as our first airline in New Zealand to offer Afterpay. We know how desperate Kiwis are to get back to travelling and for many, return home. We want to make sure everyone has the opportunity and option to get on a plane to go see the places and people they’ve been missing, without causing financial stress. We’re thrilled to make this a possibility by adding Jetstar to our list of incredible merchants.”
Afterpay is completely free for customers who pay on time – helping people spend responsibly without incurring interest, fees or extended debt. Afterpay empowers customers to access the things they want and need, such as travel to visit family and friends, while still allowing them to maintain financial wellness and control, by splitting payments in four.
Jetstar New Zealand joins Afterpay’s wide and diverse network of over 63,100 retail partners in Australia and New Zealand. Merchants benefit from the company’s 3.5 million customers who are shopping with Afterpay in Australia and New Zealand.
